"I ordered two of these as engagement rings for my boyfriend and me. I proposed as I was flying us over the Golden Gate Bridge in a Cessna. Romantic huh? He said yes! The rings are substantial despite only being the 5mm ones. The 18k Gold is beautiful but really soft as expected. They do scratch easily but adds character to the rings. The good thing about that is that every 6 months we can get them polished and looking like new again. I ordered from Weddingbands.com because all the reviews were so good. Everything was fine however I would suggest that they provide care instructions for the rings and maybe a polishing rag and when shipping correct the tracking system. I could not track the rings after they shipped it did not work for some reason. Other than that I would recommend them on price and quality. "Internet shopping at its best! I was very skeptical because Ive never heard of such a precious investment being purchased online but I read a bunch of the reviews and thought Id give them a call...so heres another great review for ya. I wanted to propose to my partner before he got word of whether or not he got into an MBA program because I didnt want that to dictate whether or not we were engaged so I had 5 days to do this. Every jeweler I went to charged at least $500 more for the ring I want and of course would need 2 weeks to make the ring. Weddingbands.com still needed to make the ring which would take only 5 business days but shipped out a temporary ring for me to use for the proposal overnight. I proposed he said yes we both approved of the chosen rings sent the temporary back and 4 days later not counting the weekend of course and we got our rings appraised and everything. They even called me when they were ready so I had a chance to place the funds in my account before they charged me. Best prices best service.
